Due to the increasing growth of the use of self-propelled masts, it is necessary to design and optimize existing mechanisms due to the need for no restraint components. Due to the nature of the self-propelled masts, the use of these masts in mobile systems seems to be very appropriate, while the use of these masts in mobile systems has problems such as the high volume of the mast and the inability to set up the mast, thus creating a telescopic mechanism. It solved the problems.
Self-contained telescopic masts or non-restricted telescopic masts have been considered in recent years because of the need for rapid deployments, including rapid military deployments, to deal with unexpected events, and to generally equip mobile systems that may not be possible to restrain. With these types of masts, the user will be able to set up the mast at the required height with minimal financial cost and time.
Static telescopic masts are made of triangular sections with a higher cross-sectional area to eliminate the need for a bracket than conventional triangular masts. This increases the moment of inertia of the cross-section of the rig and increases the resistance to bending moment, which is the critical load of the rig. Also due to the special form of this type of tower and the porosity of its structural form, it has less surface contact with wind than monopole rigs and therefore withstands less external force. Therefore this type of rig can be used without the use of a bracket.
Advantages :
Low cross section against wind
Ability to restrain when necessary
light weight
Possibility to set up manual retractable mechanism
Can be used on a building or car
